That’s why it’s a public safety concern... there are a lot of area where the nighttime temperature isn’t dropping as much as it used to, so residents are stuck in too hot temperatures for days on end.

I think that’s what makes a lot of this research very jarring... the changes will be stark in half a century, but they’re already so noticeable to locals.
